Mermaid and Flower Fairy

This is a two in one pattern. I first designed the little mermaid, but then thought it be rather fun to add the option of making a little fairy in a tiny dress.

The instructions for both mermaid and fairy are contained in this one pattern, with detailed instructions for the sewing up. There are also links to my blog in the pattern where there are photo tutorials for some of the embroidery stitches.

Little is the word for these knits. They take a such tiny amount of wool, which is why I have not put a yardage, and are a fun way to use up any leftovers. The knitting is very simple, all done flat, but a lot of the work is in the sewing up. But this is also the fun, as you can make your fairy or mermaid unique.
