Messy Bun Pony Tail Beanie

My daughter wanted an unique messy bun beanie/ pony tail hat. I wanted it to have color and great texture. I used Buttercream Roving wool from Joanns to create her hat. The stitch pattern is fairly simple, but if you have never worked in the round or double points you might find this challenging. I do try to explain everything well and I have pictures at different points of the pattern.

Materials you will need to start my Diamond Tweed Beanie Pattern:

---6mm/US10 circular knitting needles with a 16inch cable ---6mm/US 10 Double Points ---6mm crochet hook for optional hair tie finishing ---3 stitch markers ---Bulky (chunky catagory 5) yarn --- 2 skeins of different colors. You will use partial skeins.
