MISTIGRI is worked seamlessly with saddle shoulders from the top down. The body is knitted with an all-over cabled pattern. The sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch in the round. At the end stitches are picked up for for fronts & neck band that will be beautifully finished by a light I-cord edging.
The cardigan is intended to be worn with approx. 4-8”/10-20 cm of ease - The sample is a size S worn with 8”/20 cm of ease. Note that the size M is pretty generous and could fit a Size L too.
needle : 4,5 mm / US 7 32”/80cms circular needle 4,5 mm / US 7 circular or dpns suitable for working small circumferences in the round (sleeves) 3,75 mm / US 5 circular needle
gauge : 18 sts x 26 rows in stockinette stitch over 4 inches (10 cm) on 4.5 mm needle, after blocking. 24 sts x 27 rows in cable pattern over 4 inches (10 cm) on 4.5 mm needle, after blocking.
