We start with a knit 1 purl 1 rib neck band & then do some simple short rows to lower the front of the neck band. The yoke & body rounds always alternate the 2 colours & this pattern is good for using up leftovers. The short sleeves & hem also include knit 1 purl 1 rib, & except for ribbing every 6th round, the rest is all just stocking stitch.
Depending on your yarn choices this summer top is perfect for a little boy or girl. Pictured top was made with Spring Green Heirloom Cotton DK/8ply cotton & MarigoldCascade Ultra Pima Cotton DK/8ply
