Last week on Friday I passed a paddock in our town and there they were. A horse with its baby horse. So cute. Never noticed how fragile and long these legs of the baby horse are!
And the idea was born to put them both on a bookmark and launch it as a nice gesture on mother's day!
So here we are! :)
Mommy horse and baby are in the center of the bookmark and right and left I put some paddock fence as a nice little border pattern.
You just need some leftover sock yarn or Acrylic yarn of similar weight. Some circular needles 2.00 mm and off you go!
It is also a nice starter project for double knitting beginners!
Plus I put a little comic story especially for mother's day in the preview pictures.
