The tail, body, neck, and head are knit in the round in one piece, with the eyes and legs either picked up or knit separately. The spine bumps are crochet with basic single and double crochet stitches. Basic increases and decreases, as well as short rows, are used for shaping. Alternate techniques are provided for different comfort levels. Stitch descriptions and lots of photos are included, and cheezombie can help via email or convo if you get stuck. Finished size depends on needle and yarn size of course, but the example was knit on US size 3 needles and is approximately 8 inches long and 8 inches tall.
