These geometric pillow covers were inspired by the work of the Dutch artist Mondrian.
Knit using DK /#3/light worsted yarn, these pillow covers are a great way to bring colour into your home.
Each block is knit separately in garter stitch so this is a great project for a beginner knitter. You will need to keep your tension even throughout. Using different coloured yarns from the same manufacturer helps ensure even tension.
The blocks are joined together using a three needle technique - perhaps a little tricky if you are a beginner knitter but once you have it mastered it is really quite straightforward. I have included full instructions.
The pattern includes instructions for three sizes: 12"/ 30cm square 18" / 45cm square 12"x 18"/ 30cmx45cm rectangular
