Moos-imo and his son Junior are an adorable set of Alberta moose - an addition to the collection of moose stuffies that my friend owns. A few years ago she asked me to make a knit moose for her collection and ever since it has been a "Christmas gift to herself" as she waits to see what I will create for her growing group of moose ornaments. Moos-imo is worked in Astra yarn and Junior in the lighter Baby Smiles by Schachenmayr. The design includes photos to make the ski set and sled and photos to make the antlers. An easy knit design done in moss stitch and st. st. with pfb and kfb increases and short rows on the elnows and knees. Quick and easy using about one skein of Astra and 100m of baby yarn.
