Meet our knitted Moose. He’s cute, cuddly, maybe a little bit confused but is very lovable. With a big moose nose, antlers and 4 fully articulated legs, this moose is adorable.
Easy enough for any knitter to create, but complex looking for big wows when it's all knit up, this moose is great for someone who's looking for an easy project with big returns.
This Moose is suitable for advanced beginner knitters and assumes an understanding of basic stitches and standard knitting terms. Our Moose is knit flat and sewn together using a mattress stitch.
You will need ~90 m of medium weight light brown yarn and ~50 m of medium weight dark brown yarn. With this yarn, use 4 mm (US size 6) needles. You will also need a small amount of yarn for embroidering the face, stuffing and a tapestry needle to sew your moose together.
Use the yarn we suggest, or any yarn you like. This pattern scales easily, so any thickness of yarn works beautifully.
