Requirements: 4mm crochet hook, 12g DK mercerised cotton yarn (in 4 different colours), Colourful button to decorate, Brooch clasp, Darning needle
Abbreviations: sl st slip stitch, ch chain, sc single crochet, st(s) stitch(es), rep repeat
Notes: This flower measures 5-8cm in diameter. It is worked by creating the base first and then working the flower petals into the stitches of the base. This pattern is for a four-layer petal motif, however, it is possible to create a three-layer petal motif by omitting Round 4 of the petals. You will need a larger button to fill the centre space.
