A no-nonsense garter stitch shawl, Mrs. Peabody gets right to the point with an easy-to-work garter stitch and leaf lace border. The garter stitch body is shaped with short rows and decreases and finishes with a tidy i-cord bind off. Mrs Peabody takes very kindly to embellishment, and beads can be added in a variety of ways.

Small: 147 cm (55") wide by 33 cm (13") deep
Large: 198 cm (78") wide by 43 cm (17") deep
Sample was knit in Estelle by Permin; Other listed yarns are suggested substitutes.
