General: This pattern contains 12 pages of written instructions, photo tutorials and charts. It has a separate section called Tips and Explanations, where you find useful tips for how to get the best result.
Gauge and Size: My gauge is 36 sts & 36 rows in two stranded knitting in the round. The size of the mitten can be slightly adjusted by increasing or decreasing gauge, but as is, it fits the average female hand.
Yarn: Mulberry Silk by the Zippy Zebra, hand dyed in colourways Champagne and Pine Forrest. This is her finest silk yarn, and it is incredibly soft and light, creating a feeling of luxury. When buying the pattern, you will find a discount code in the description for 10% off when purchasing her yarn. I used the following amount: • Champagne: approx. 35 grams (~140 m) • Pine Forrest: approx. 20 grams (~80 m) I used dpns 3.0 mm.

- I recommend wooden needles with silk yarn as they are not as slippery as metal ones, and the stitches will not slide off as easily.
