What’s this: This is the Mustard hat. It features beautiful handmade lilac wood buttons by Trukerie.
Why should I make this: Halfway between a beret and a tuque, this is a feminine hat that won’t flatten your hair.
When will this get the most use: Whenever it gets chilly!
Who is it for: Sized child to large adult head, just about anyone!
Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches, and working in the back loop. You will need 100g of worsted weight yarn* & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: 2x 2cm buttons, a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
*The yarn I used is extremely soft. Make sure to check your gauge.
