This pretty scarf is easy and quick to knit and is ideal for showing off those lovely gradient yarns. It can be knit in almost any yarn quality and made as big or as small as you like. The scarf is worked in colour blocks and set in a lovely frame with a picot border.
**Following techniques are used to knit this shawl:**Knits and purls in rows, yarn overs and simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches, short rows and picot bind off.
Sizes vary according to the yarn weight you use and you can also choose to knit a broader or skinnier shawl.
The example seen in the pictures is made with Wooltopia 5ply Merino/Bamboo/Silk, (“Lola‘s Rainbow“, 2x, and “semi black“ as contrasting colour) on 3mm needles and measures 210cm/83in long and 25cm/10in broad.
