When I introduced the Christmas Angel - Knit I was asked to revise the pattern to make the angel larger so that it could be used as a tree topper for a seven foot Christmas tree. I decided to slightly revamp the original angel and am now introducing the Nativity Angel. Together with her Baby Jesus she is a tall elegant lady that has the same lacy gown as the original design. She is starched to allow her to stand freely as a table top decoration or stand elegantly atop the family tree. The design is an easy lace knit and comes off the needles quickly. It actually takes more time and patience waiting for the starching to dry than it does knitting this sweet lady!
Make this design in conjunction with the two smaller angels. There is plenty of time to make this set for your home or as a gift for someone near and dear to you. Merry Christmas 2018 everyone. xo wendy
