NELLIE - a lovely and practical plain coloured cardigan in silk for the baby and toddler. Long drop-shoulder sleeves worked from armhole and downwards. The cardigan was worked from right front opening accross the back to the left front opening until armholes. Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3. The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as in inches.
Yarn: this design applies for a 3-ply silk, 50 g = ca. 240 meters. In total 100 - 150 - 200 g.The original model was made in SETA, 100 % bourette silk (50 g = 240 meters) from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.
Accessories: buttons - here made of shells.Needles: and circular needles no 2,25 and 2,75 mm.Tension/gauge in stocking st: 26 sts on needles no 2,75 mm = 10 cm.
