Nigelle is an airy and refined cardigan. In its short version, it can be worn on an elegant dress at a party or for a special time. Whereas its long version will fit you for a cosy moment at home - with a cup of tea or coffee…
Nigelle is worked in Mohair and Silk yarn held in double. So it is very light and airy, but also warm and comfortable.
Nigelle is available in 10 sizes, depending on your bust circumference: 80 (85/90/95/100) 105 (110/115/120/125) cm / 31½ (33½/35½/37½/39½) 41¼ (43¼/45¼/47¼/49¼) inches. This cardigan is worn with a negative ease of 10 to 20 cm / 4 to 8 inches, depending on size. Instructions include both a short (as the one I wear) and a long version.
The lace pattern is explained by charts, for each size and each part of the body. It can be easily memorized, as it is rather repetitive. The bottom hem of the body and the sleeves is worked in twisted rib. An icord is worked all along the neckline and forms the buttonholes.
