Pattern for a little chick, with additions for an adult chicken. The only sewing involved is to attach yarn for surface crochet (comb, beak), and adding eyes (and wattle for an adult hen), and maybe a keyring or ribbon loop for hanging.
Worked with DK and 3mm hook it will make a perfect keyring size chicken, but can be worked with heavier yarn, yarns held together for a great mottled feather effect, and larger hooks to make larger plushies.
Super quick. Can be made in a couple of hours (longer if like me you're easily distracted).
