This cap is inspired by the long color changes of the NORO yarns. Using a slip stitch, it combines a variegated chunky yarn that sits on top with a background of a variegated worsted weight.
Yarns: Color A; bulky or chunky weight. Sample uses Silk Garden Chunky by NORO, 50gr/60m ball (1). Color B; worsted weight. Sample uses Silk Garden by NORO, 50gr/100m ball (1).
Gauges: Color A; 3.5sts/inch in stockinette st. Color B; 5sts/inch in stockinette st.
Needles: 20” circular and 1 set of double pointed in US #6-7 or size to obtain smaller gauge of color B.
Notion: 1 tapestry needle and 1 stitch marker.
