Northern beanie, Southern bucket

The name for this pattern is Northern hemisphere winds beanie and Southern hemisphere suns bucket hat but it was too long for Ravelry!

It's two in one hat pattern including both a beanie and a bucket hat and it will be useful to you at any time of the year!

In winter make a cosy beanie and in summer make a sun shading bucket hat with just a few small variations on the basic pattern.

This pattern currently just comes in one adult size pattern, I may expand sizes according to demand.

I have used a few balls 8 ply / DK cotton, but feel free to also use DK acrylic yarn or wool or any other fibre in a similar thickness for the winter beanie as well.

You can use up your stash as the patterns both just use a few balls of yarn ( see above for details)
