'Norway Spruce' was originally published in issue 46 of Crochet Now magazine in the UK in August 2019.
It uses the mosaic crochet technique in which you change colour every 2 rows. The unused colour is carried up the side of the work, hence minimising the number of ends needing to be woven in. The pattern is created by leaving ch-sps in rows using the first colour, and these are filled in on the next RS row in a contrasting colour, leaving the ch-sps unworked behind.
It is much quicker and easier to do than it looks!
