Norwegian Star Shawl

This filet crochet shawl measures 66 x 28 inch / 170 x 71 cm and is very fast and easy to make! When you work on this shawl, you can see the pattern of a Norwegian Star grow. I have attached a leather label with a snap, so it can be removed when the shawl is washed. I have used 100% acrylic yarn, but you can use any kind of yarn, as long as it is a solid color, otherwise the pattern of the star won’t show.

The pattern is in English and uses US crochet terms.

Stitches used in this pattern: chain, double crochet, treble crochet.

Supplies:

3 balls of Zeeman Royal (a Dutch brand, 100% acrylic – 1 ball = 100 grams = 263 yards / 241 meter), you will have some leftover

Crochet hook size 7 mm

Leather label with a snap (size: 0,75 x 4 inch / 1,5 x 10 cm)
