'NSV' Socks offer the knitter a wide range of choices, from the yarn, to the foot size, to the leg adjustments, there is no reason to ever have to wear socks that cut or bind again. Even those of you who would never have been able to make hand knit knee socks will be happy to find that this pattern lends itself well, no matter what your size needs are.
The top of the foot and leg feature a pretty lacey eyelet pattern that can be knit Stacked, as shown in the main pattern, or Vining, charts for which are available as an extra download when you get to the pattern download page. The ribbed nature of the socks means there is plenty of stretch while still offering enough hug to help keep them up.
This pattern will work for all colorways, from the most highly variegated to the most defined stripes to a good old solid color, both color and pattern will show
