The crochet tote bag pattern is a perfect accessory for the summer. Made with a classic granny stitch and just by adding a few stripes will turn into an entirely different and modern bag. For this bag, you can use worsted/aran weight yarn. The pattern is easy to follow and beginner-friendly.

The stitches used are double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet, and chain stitch.

worsted weight yarn
crochet hook size 5mm
4 stitch markers
tapestry needle
scissors
Final measurements – Bag size without the straps is: 40cm x 40cm The strap length depends on you. Mine is 50cm – 22 inches
This summer tote bag is worked from the bottom up, without any seaming. First, we will make the base, then we will continue with sides and straps/ handles.
