Noverca is a slightly crescent-shaped shawl featuring garter stitch, wide lace, and knitted-on edging. It is big enough for a late summer cover-up, or a squishy wrap for winter.
Finished Size: 18” depth, 54” wingspan
Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Traveller (100% Merino wool), 280 yards/4 ounces. Sample knit using one full skein of Blue Velvet (main color) and most of a skein of Silver Fox. Total used approximately 490 yards.
Needles: 32” circular needle, size 6 US (4mm), or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 13 stitches/26 rows per 4 inches in wet-blocked garter stitch; gauge is not critical for this item but will affect size, yardage used, and drape.
