Nutcracker Plushie

The crochet nutcracker looks a little like Einstein without his hat! As always, I used simple stitches to create the basic shapes of this crochet plushie. Then I added in some extra details by embroidering on the gold laces on the boots and the buckle of his belt. I had a lot of fun looking up different nutcracker designs for this pattern, although I wanted to make it a bit cuter than most of the ones I saw. Something about the face always seemed a little creepy and stern! Also, most of the designs I saw were red and black, but I decided to go with a blue outfit instead since so many other Christmas things are either red or green.
