Produktdetails
This seamless waistcoat is knit with the warming Icelandic Léttlopi yarn and is designed to be a perfect fit for small, medium and larger sizes. To achieve a flattering fit in all sizes, the pattern calls for extensive waist shaping in the small and medium sizes and moderate waist shaping in the large sizes. From size 49.25 upwards, the waistcoat is knitted in an A-line. The waistcoat is shown with moderate waist shaping. It is worked in one piece from bottom up.
The stitch pattern is the linen stitch which results in a tight fabric with heavy drape that holds its shape very well. Wavy stripes in a contrasting colour at the sides break up the straight lines of the linen stitch panels which form the body. Finally, an attached I-cord in the same contrasting colour makes for a neat finish.
The sample was knit in Istex Lett-Lopi. A substitute yarn is shown below.
