This scarf came about a number of months ago when I was watching 'The Curse of Oak Island'. I was born and raised in Nova Scotia, and the story of Oak Island has fascinated me since I was a teenager. Those folks that really follow the show have become known as Acorns (get it...Oak...Acorn...anyway lol), and when I found this acorn stitch it seemed like a perfect match. It's a subtle nod to the island, the show and my home. :)
