October Moon socks are perfect for autumn, but I do wear mine year-round. They’re too much fun not to! I created these specifically with speckled yarn in mind for the main color, with the colorwork bats blending into the background here and there. The socks will look equally good on a solid background, too.
You will need fingering weight yarn. Approx. 210 (225, 240) m / 230 (245, 260) yds of MC, 92 (98, 104) m / 100 /107, 114) yds of CC. The sample was knit usingiKKe BFL Sock in Euphoria and Lanitium ex Machina BFL Sock Twist in Corner of No and Where.An alternative yarn is suggested below.
