This design is both cute and functional, it makes a lovely gift for any time of the year or just a well-deserved treat for yourself!

Designed to fit a Kindle Fire, it can be adjusted to fit most sizes with little effort, if you are gifting a paperback to someone this would make a nice additional gift. The pattern is written in American crochet terms, although those who are used to British terms will be able to follow along using the notes below regarding how the stitches compare.

Please note that DK weight yarn has been used held double throughout the design (unless stated), I like to use this method to enable a wide choice of yarns and to have access to a broad range of colours; it also means that the yardage is maximised in most cases in comparison to using an Aran weight yarn.
