I designed the pattern of “Oriental Grace” inspired by ancient carpet patterns of Asia minor. This soft and cuddly plaid is knitted flat (not in the round) from the bottom up and in one piece.
Skill level: for experienced knitters
Finished size: 95 cm x 198 cm (including the fringes)
Yarn: 850 g Hansa Farm Baby Alpaka, fingering weight (200 m/ 50 g)
The original blanket is made of the yarn by "Hansa Farm" (Germany), Baby Alpaka - Fingering (200 m/ 50 g). You may use alternately "Plymouth Yarn Alpaka Prima", weight 331 m/ 100 g. Please note that material weight and finished size can vary depending on your individual working style and the used yarn.
The pattern includes photos, a knitting technique tutorial, detailed preparation and knitting instructions and clear charts.
