Oscillate

The cowl is knit in the round and in one piece. The outer colourwork shell is worked first starting from a provisional cast-on and using stranded stockinette in two colours. Continuing seamlessly with one colour, the inner lining is worked in simple stockinette, before the working stitches are grafted together with the live stitches from the provisional cast-on using Kitchener stitch. It should be noted that the colourwork chart contains no repeat motif and is worked once through in its entirety. The chart is given in 10-round segments to help you keep on track. Whilst this pattern requires a certain degree of attention and concentration, the end result is a fabulous spiral chaos design!
