Oval placemat and coaster set by HueLaVive

This is a fun, beginners crochet pattern, for making a pretty set of oval placemats and coasters. You can crochet this set for your home or make them as a gift for someone special !!

The pattern works well with one colour or more and with or without decoration rounds, whichever you prefer. Placemat size: 13.8” X 13.2” (35 X 33.5 cm).

Coaster size: 5.5” X 4” (14 X 10 cm).

The PDF includes a highly detailed step by step photo tutorial and a printable version without pictures, for both patterns.

Pattern is written in US English terms.

Skill level: Beginner.

A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches is required.

Materials:

- Yarn: Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran and Paintbox Yarns Simply DK

- Size 4mm (Metric) G/6 (US) crochet hook

- Scissors

- Tapestry needle
