Owl flip-top mitts

Cute owlies for colder days, with a twist – flip the top and fingers are free for fiddly tasks! Chunky/bulky yarn and toasty fingers.

An intermediate knit, with simple cabling. Line by line instructions in English with British and American terms. Photos have been included to help knit the flap and to assemble the mitts. Knit flat on two needles and sewn up. Yarn recommendations are given, but most chunky/bulky yarns should be okay - just check your tension/guage.

One adult size fits most – shorter or longer options included. The oatmeal pair have a button and loop so you can pin back the flap, and the olive pair has been left with no button and loop.
