Owl Wall Hanging

This owl wall hanging is perfect to make up a gift for owl lovers to hang on walls, gardens, windows or wherever you choose to use them.

The owl’s main body, head and wings can be made with a single strand of dk / weight 3 yarn and 3mm hook or 2 strands joined together or chunky yarn and 5.5mm hook. The eyes, beak and feet are made with a single strand of dk / weight 3 yarn and 3mm hook.

Materials 3 and 5.5mm hook Small amounts of black, cream or white and beige dk / weight 3 yarn Chunky or 2 strands of dk for larger owl, one strand of dk for smaller owl for body and wings. Needle Scissors

Owls will measure approx 11 x 11 inch if made with chunky or 2 strands of dk, or 9.5 x 7 inch with one strand of dk.

The owl body will be made with alpine stitch.
