Paintbox Yarns Simply DK Botanical Buddies 11 Ball Knitting Kit

Knitting kit for Botanical Buddies, a collection of knitted plants from the genius green fingers of Amanda Berry, queen of knitted amigurumi! Cacti, bonsai, a Venus fly trap and a super spider plant make up these gorgeous botanical friends that you can knit as gifts or just to pop on a windowsill or book case!

Kit includes PDF pattern and 11 balls of Paintbox Yarns Simply DK.

Additional materials required but not included: 3mm (US 2) minimum length 8in/20cm knitting needles, toy filling, darning or tapestry needle for seaming, 2 x 10mm/⅜in toy safety eyes for each plant, 2 x 4mm/ ⅛in black beads for the fly’s eyes, sewing needle and thread, stitch markers, ruler or tape measure.
Optional notions: Plant pots 7.5cm/3in diameter x 7.5cm/3in tall for lining, dried rice for “ballast” to stabilize the pots, and plastic food bags to contain the rice, awl or large knitting needle to puncture a hole in the plant pot lining. Note: Safety eyes and small beads are a choking hazard and not suitable for children under 36 months.
