Panorama Cowl

This cowl is a textural delight in soft cotton. It looks impressive with its waves in three colours but is actually simple and fun to work using slip stitch patterns. Knitted in the round there is no seaming required and the end result is a perfect way to cover shoulders and chest when you’ve had enough sun. It can even be draped over the head if you’ve forgotten your hat. The pattern instructions detail a cool cotton version but the cowl looks equally good worked in odds and ends of sock yarn for colder weather wear.

A versatile design, the yarn suggested is a 4ply weight but I can also see this cowl knitted up in heavier weight yarns for a larger version which could be doubled up for Winter warmth.
