This is a digital downloadable pattern to create a crochet blanket. The pattern is crocheted in the round and would be suited to an intermediate crocheter or confident beginner. Due to the nature of the pattern, it does require a fair amount of concentration to ensure the tile pattern works up correctly. This is because there is no set pattern repeat, so checking your work regularly is recommended.
The pattern includes written instructions and photos for the first 15 rounds. From round 16, notes are included to help you continue your pattern - this includes diagrams to show the direction of tiles.
I used a 4ply Scheepjes Ombré Whirl (Petrol Please Me), however you can use any type of yarn you wish as gauge is not necessary for this pattern. The finished blanket using this yarn measured 31 x 31 inches.
