Ivan Grundahl designed a summer sweater I could not take my eyes off. I found my yarn while visiting Borg, a tightly twisted cotton yarn with a weight intended for weavers, available on large cones. Ideal for my purpose, except the thickness so I decided to double it up. I can warmly recommend a day trip to Borg in Vittsjö, southern Sweden from Copenhagen. It was worth the trip all the way from London.

Finished measurements: Sweater: Bust circumference: 158 cm Length: 53 cm Sleeve length: 40 cm Cowl: Width: 18.5 cm Length: 164 cm/64.5"
Yarn: Borgs Vävgarner Mattvarp 12/6, (100% cotton, 500 g, 1475 m). Sample is knitted in: Col A: Beige 44: 2 cones; 1987 m for sweater and 400 m for cowl. Col B: Black 1267: 1 cone; 497 m for sweater and 267 m for cowl. **Note: **Yarn is held double throughout.
Notes: The sweater is worked at in pieces, except for the neck band which is worked in the round.
