Peace Sign Crossbody Bag

This pattern is for a fun hippy peace symbol crossbody bag. The pattern uses readily available Lily Sugar n Cream cotton yarn but another worsted weight yarn can be substituted. The body of the bag is worked in tapestry crochet a technique in which the yarn is carried along under the crochet stitches...it gives a nice finished look to the inside of the bag, plus there are fewer tails to sew in. The pattern explains how to do this easy technique and should be easy to learn for any intermediate crocheter. The pattern is not recommended for a crochet beginner.
