An easy lace pattern stitch for a lovely openwork design that pairs fabulously over a tank top, swimsuit, or other lightweight tops. You will get compliments on this, and you may want to make several in different colors. This is meant to wear a bit “oversized” to fit nicely over other tank tops and garments. The pattern stitch is fairly easy, so in no time you will have it memorized to keep knitting away! A nice lightweight airy top for Spring, Summer and Fall, but can also take you into winter over a cotton turtleneck shirt too. Uses a lightweight size 3 yarn, knitting needles, US # 8. Finished sizes up to 60 inches.
