Penny the potted plant

This is a PDF crochet pattern, written in US terminology. It contains lots of step-by-step photos and detailed instructions to help you make your own Penny the potted plant. When made with the stated yarn weight and hook size, the finished plant will be approx 12cm tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the middle leaf, and the diameter of the pot will be approx 8cm.

You will need to know how to do the following:

ch- chain

mr- magic ring

sl st- slip stitch

sc- single crochet

inc- increase

invdec- invisible decrease

BLO- back loops only

hdc- half double crochet

dc- double crochet

Materials:

● DK yarn ● 3mm crochet hook ● Yarn needle ● Stitch marker ● Scissors ● Plastic pellets to fill the pot and the shoes- you can use stuffing if you prefer but the pellets will give the pot and feet some weight. The pellets I used were 2-3mm in size and out of a 250g bag I used approx 128g for the pot and some extra for the feet. ● Pins to hold pieces in place when sewing ● Tape measure or ruler
