I made Pinky a Pussyhat in 2018 . For shutdown during Covid - 19 she requested the same hat in rainbow colours . I found some violet Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 8 ply in my stash and added the various other colours of the rainbow . The stretchy nature of the ribbed section makes it warm and comfortable . Taking only 50 g of the main colour and 80 g of the other six colours , means you can use leftover colours from your stash to knit this up quickly . I've suggested replacing the Australian yarn with King Cole Merino Blend to provide similar warmth and colours . Seaming doesn’t take long .
