Based on a quilt pattern called Card Trick, Pinwheel Magic is crocheted in one piece using the Star stitch. Working over colors not in use creates a reversible fabric. The carried yarns, though covered by the stitches, are visible as tiny flecks creating an attractive tweed appearance. Four-row navy border is added after the body of the afghan is completed. Sport yarn (or DK) allows the use of three colors and still creates a nice, light-weight afghan.
