Pleno Verano, which is Spanish for mid-summer, is a top-down, raglan sleeve cardigan with a seed stitch border at the neck, cuffs, and edges; you can add as many or as few buttons as you like.
Finished Size:
Chest 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52) inches, sleeve circumference 12.75(13.75, 14.5, 16.25, 17, 17.75) inches, length dependent upon your whim! Sample is 17” from cast-on to bind-off.
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Solemate (55% Superwash Merino wool, 15% nylon, 30% Outlast viscose, 425 yards/100g), 2(2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skeins. Sample worked in Monrovia.
Needles:
US #4/3.25mm circular needle, 32 inches; dpns or circulars to knit small circumferences in the round.
Set of US #3/3.25mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round. These are used on the sleeve cuffs only.
Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, worked flat and in the round, on larger needles.
