Knit a sweet and cuddly little polar teddy bear from this easy pattern! The textured cardigan makes a cute accessory which kids love to play with.
The toy uses 50 g of worsted weight yarn in cream, on 4 mm (US size 6 needles). The jacket uses 25 g of worsted weight yarn, on 4.5 mm (US size 7) needles. Both toy and jacket are knit flat and them seamed, although the toy is relatively easy to knit in the round if you are comfortable modifying it. The pattern is advanced beginner level. You will need to know how to knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, increase, sew seams, and pick up stitches. If making the toy for a child younger than 3, embroider the eyes, and leave off the buttons from the jacket.
