With a simple body and generous collar, Pommier is an opportunity to play with color in a new way. After knitting the Stockinette stitch body from the top down with a subtle racerback, stitches are picked up from around the vest’s opening and a cushy collar is created with two-color Brioche Stitch, a stitch that can be intimidating to some but is much easier than it seems. A tutorial has been provided for those unfamiliar with Brioche Stitch and, with no shaping within the collar, the stitch can be practiced without worrying about stitch counts or additional techniques. The resulting garment is a fun, wearable piece with a collar that adds a stunning detail.
