The stranded socks are knit from the top down. The pattern just defines "rounds" and "rows" so it works equally well for double pointed needles and Magic Loop. It is written in English.
The socks are mirrored with ponies running clockwise on one sock and counterclockwise on the other. The ponies are centered on the front and the back of the leg. Instructions are written for three different sizes (Eur 24/US 7, Eur 28/US10 and Eur 32/US 13). Since kids grow fast there are instructions to add a little length to the finished socks if necessary.**Skills required:**Knit and purl stitches, basic increase and decrease techniques, stranded knitting in the round, picking up stitches, chart reading, grafting (kitchener stitch), basic understanding of sock construction
