This cardigan sort of designed itself. All I knew was I wanted it to be asymmetrical and fasten at the top— everything else fell into place as I swatched with the wonderful, new-to-me yarn. Honor has the most amazing drape, perfect for this loosely-fitting baby cardigan, and perfectly soft too.
Little lace flowers gave the cardi its name, and i-cord trimming gives it a tidy appearance without taking too much time. Finish it off with the perfect button!
a note about substituting yarn: Honor is a very drape-y yarn, so although it is a DK you might be happier substituting a sportweight yarn if you use something that has a high wool or cotton content. I do not recommend acrylic for this pattern, but it is YOUR knitting so you should use the yarn that makes you happy.
