My great grandmother made these potholders for every one in my family, but I never asked her how to make them. Years later I wanted to make a set for a friend and could not find a pattern anywhere online. So I studied one of hers and came up with this pattern. It is so simple to make and after the first one you don't even need the pattern, just turn your favorite movie on and crochet away.
